MyBambu Mobile Phone Top-Up Referral Promotion

Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) govern the MyBambu (“we”, “our” or “us”) promotion for the Mobile Phone Top-Up Referral Program (the “Mobile Top-Up Promotion” or “Promotion”) in connection with your MyBambu Visa® Debit Card Account (“Account”)  issued by Community Federal Savings Bank (the “Bank”), Member FDIC, pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. The Mobile Top-Up Promotion is open to all current customers of MyBambu (“Referrer(s)“) who meet the eligibility criteria outlined in these Terms and Conditions and who comply with the MyBambu Deposit Account and Cardholder Agreement (the “Account Agreement“). This Promotion is offered and provided by MyBambu and the Bank is not a party to the Promotion offer.

By participating in the Mobile Top-Up Promotion, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms and Conditions and any changes we make to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not comply with these Terms and Conditions, you are not authorized to participate in the Promotion.

1. Eligibility:

1.1 To be eligible, Referrers must refer a new customer to MyBambu that successfully opens an account and/or activates a MyBambu Card and complies with the Account Agreement (each a “New Customer” or “Referee”) and completes Mobile Phone Top-Up transactions totaling a minimum of $10 within the following dates: December 14, 2024 to January 31, 2025.

2. Promotion Details:

2.1 Referrers will receive a $40 reward (“Reward(s)”) deposited to their Account for each successful referral of a New Customer who purchase at least $10 in Mobile Phone Top-Ups using the MyBambu Application. A Reward will be deposited to your Account within 15 business days (Monday through Friday excluding US bank holidays) after it is earned. When the Reward is deposited in your Account you will see the Reward amount added to your Account balance. You must have an active Account to be eligible for a Reward and the Referee must use the link provided in the referral. Individuals who are eligible to receive over $600 in Rewards are required to submit to us a valid IRS W-9 or W-8 form. 

2.2 When you refer a Referee, we may require you to and you hereby agree to provide and/or confirm information and documentation that will allow us to identify the Referee, such as:

2.2.1 The name of the person who opened their Account.  

2.2.2 The email of the person used to open their Account.

2.2.3 The date of when you sent the referral link.

2.2.4 A screenshot of the link sent to the Referee.

2.3 You may not use bulk distribution methods to solicit New Customers that in our discretion constitute unsolicited commercial communications or spam, whether through email, social media, or other websites or platforms. The use of multiple, duplicate or otherwise fake Accounts, opening a MyBambu account with fake or false personal information or a forged or altered government ID, or failure to follow the terms and conditions of the Account by you or your Referee is a violation of these Terms and Conditions. Violating any applicable law is also a violation of these Terms and Conditions. We may take back any Rewards that are received by you in violation of these Terms and Conditions, and we may close your Account.

2.4 The Mobile Top-Up Promotion will run from the specified start date December 14, 2024 until the specified end date, January 31, 2025 (the “Promotion Period”).

3. Qualifying Criteria:

3.1 To qualify for the Reward, the Referee must be referred by a Referrer and  purchase at least $10 in Mobile Phone Top-Ups within the Promotion Period.

3.2 Mobile Phone Top-Up transactions must be conducted using MyBambu’s platform to be eligible for the Reward.

4. Additional Reward Condition-Account Must be in Good Standing and Not Negative:

4.1 As a Reward condition your Account must remain open, in good standing and not have a negative available balance. No Reward will be deposited into your Account if: (1) your Account is closed or not in good standing after the Reward qualification is validated and prior to the Reward being deposited or (2) your Account has a negative available balance at the time of the Reward qualification is validated.

5. Reward Distribution:

5.1 Rewards will be credited to the Accounts of eligible Referrers within 15 business days once all the qualifying conditions have been met.

5.2 MyBambu reserves the right to withhold Rewards if any fraudulent activity or abuse of the Mobile Top-Up Promotion is detected.

5.3 Rewards are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other form of compensation.

6. Promotion Period:

6.1 The Promotion Period will commence on the specified start date and will run until the specified end date.

6.2 MyBambu reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Mobile Top-Up Promotion at any time without prior notice.

7. General Terms:

7.1 Participation in the Mobile Top-Up Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

7.2 MyBambu reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

7.3 By participating in the Mobile Top-Up Promotion, Referrers agree to release and hold harmless MyBambu and its affiliates from any and all liabilities, losses, or damages arising out of or in connection with the Mobile Top-Up Promotion.

7.4 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Delaware.

7.5 Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Mobile Top-Up Promotion shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state courts in Memphis, Tennessee, or the federal court in the Western District of Tennessee.
