Terms and Conditions for MyBambu Cash Load Promotion

These terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) govern the MyBambu (“we”, “our” or “us”) Cash Load Promotion (“Promotion”) related to the use of a demand deposit account and/or activating a linked MyBambu Visa® Debit Card Account (“Account”) issued by Community Federal Savings Bank (the “Bank”), Member FDIC, pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. The Promotion is open to all current customers of MyBambu (“Participants“) who meet the eligibility criteria outlined in these Terms and Conditions and who comply with the MyBambu Deposit Account and Cardholder Agreement (the “Account Agreement“). This Promotion is offered by MyBambu and is in no way affiliated with or serviced by the Bank.

By participating in the Promotion, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms and Conditions and any changes we make to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not comply with these Terms and Conditions, you are not authorized to participate in the Promotion.

  1. Eligibility:

1.1. To be eligible, Participants must comply with the Account Agreement, make a cash load of at least $25 at participating retailers, and fulfill the requirements outlined in these Terms and Conditions within the following dates: July 24, 2024 – July 25, 2024 (the “Promotion Period”).

  1. Promotion Details:

2.1. MyBambu will reimburse the retailer fees for cash loads during the Promotion Period within 5 – 8 business days (Monday through Friday excluding US bank holidays) for each successful cash load that meets the qualifying criteria as specified in these Terms and Conditions.

2.2. Standard retailer cash load terms and conditions apply.

  1. Qualifying Criteria:

3.1. To qualify for the Promotion, you must have an active Account and be in good standing.

3.2. Only cash loads made with your MyBambu physical card or barcode are eligible for the Promotion.

3.3. Deposits made through Allpoint® ATMs are not eligible for the Promotion.

3.4. The minimum cash load amount to meet the qualifying criteria is $25.

  1. Program Period:

4.1. The Promotion Period  will run from July 24, 2024 at or about 12:00 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) until July 25, 2024 at or about 11:59 PM ET, unless otherwise specified by MyBambu.  

4.2. MyBambu reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion at any time without prior notice.

  1. General Terms:

5.1. Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

5.2. MyBambu reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

5.3. By participating in the Promotion, Participants agree to release and hold harmless MyBambu and its affiliates from any and all liabilities, losses, or damages arising out of or in connection with the Program.

5.4. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Delaware.

5.5. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Promotion shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state courts in Memphis, Tennessee, or the federal court in the Western District of Tennessee.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT — To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means for you: when you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.

1. Register and open a MyBambu account using your country’s issued ID; we do not check your immigration status.

2. No monthly Fee, No Overdrafts, No minimum Balance. An inactivity fee may apply after 12 months.

3. Extra fees, such as, transfer fees, intermediary bank or foreign exchange charges, may apply.

4. Offer valid only when your referred friend opens a new MyBambu account and is verified.

5. The Visa® Zero Liability policy covers U.S.-issued cards only and does not apply to ATM transactions, PIN transactions not processed by Visa, or certain commercial card transactions. Cardholder must notify issuer promptly of any unauthorized use. Consult issuer for additional details or visit http://www.visa.com/security.

6. International money transfers are not offered by Community Federal Savings Bank. From time to time, MyBambu may offer promotions related to the use of this service. Extra fees, such as, transfer fees, intermediary bank or foreign exchange charges, may apply. Regular fees will apply as per MyBambu’s fee schedule at the conclusion of any promotion. MyBambu reserves the right to change or end any promotion at any time.

7. Card funds will be held at or transferred to Community Federal Savings Bank, Member FDIC. While there, card funds are insured up to $250,000 by the FDIC in the event Community Federal Savings Bank fails if specific deposit insurance requirements are met. FDIC insurance does not apply to non-bank deposit products.

8. All Zelle® trademarks are the exclusive property of Early Warning Services, LLC. MyBambu products and services ARE NOT AUTHORIZED, ENDORSED, OR SPONSORED BY EARLY WARNING SERVICES, LLC- OWNER OF Zelle®. MyBambu is not an In-Network participant of the Zelle Network® service. Enrollment requires MyBambu customers to add their debit card (connected to a MyBambu account) directly with the Zelle® App. MyBambu users must enroll directly through the Zelle® App and not simply add a user’s information to access Zelle®. Please visit the Zelle® App help page here: Contact Us | Zelle (zellepay.com) for additional information.
