Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) govern the MyBambu (“we,” “our” or “us”) promotion for the MyBambu International Money Transfer (“IMT”) Mobile Top-Up Cross-Sell Promotion (the “Promotion”) in connection with your MyBambu Visa® Debit Card Account (“Account”) issued by Community Federal Savings Bank (the “Bank”), Member FDIC, pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. This Promotion is open to all current customers of MyBambu (each a “Participant(s)“) who meet the eligibility criteria outlined in these Terms and Conditions and who comply with the MyBambu Deposit Account and Cardholder Agreement (the “Account Agreement“). This Promotion is offered and provided by MyBambu and the Bank is not a party to the Promotion offer.

By participating in the Promotion, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms and Conditions and any changes we make to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not comply with these Terms and Conditions, you are not authorized to participate in the Promotion.

1. Eligibility:

1.1. To be eligible for this promotion, Participants must meet the following criteria:

1.1.1. Have an active MyBambu Account.

1.1.2. Have sent an IMT to Guatemala in the last 90 days.

1.1.3. Meet the transaction requirements specified in these Terms and Conditions.

2. Promotion Details:

2.1. Eligible Participants will receive a $2 refund to their MyBambu Account on any mobile top-ups of $5 or more (“each, a Refund”) for every completed IMT transaction that meets the qualifying criteria as specified in these Terms and Conditions. A Refund will be deposited to your Account within 5 business days (Monday through Friday excluding US bank holidays) after it is earned. When the Refund is deposited in your Account you will see the Refund amount added to your Account balance. You must have an active MyBambu account to be eligible for a Refund.

2.2. The minimum IMT amount is $25.

2.3. The minimum mobile top-up amount is $5.

2.4. The Promotion will run from April 18, 2025 until 11:59 PM ET, May 18, 2025 (the “Promotion Period”).

3. Qualifying Criteria:

3.1. To qualify for the Refund, Participants must fulfill the Promotion requirement within the Promotion Period.

3.2. Only mobile phone top-ups through the MyBambu Mobile Application are eligible for the Refund.

4. Additional Refund Condition-Account Must be in Good Standing and Not Negative:

4.1. As a Refund condition your Account must remain open, in good standing and not have a negative available balance. No Refund will be deposited into your Account if: (1) your MyBambu account is closed or not in good standing after the Refund qualification is validated and prior to the Refund being deposited or (2) your Account has a negative available balance at the time of the Refund qualification is validated.

5. Refund Distribution:

5.1. Each Refund will be credited to the Participant’s Account once all the qualifying conditions have been met.  

5.2. MyBambu reserves the right to withhold Refund if any fraudulent activity or abuse of the Promotion is detected.  

5.3. Each Refund is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other form of compensation. 

6. Promotion Period:

6.1. The Promotion Period will commence on April 18, 2025 and will run until 11:59 PM ET, May 18, 2025.

6.2. MyBambu reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion at any time without prior notice.

7. General Terms:

7.1. Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

7.2. MyBambu reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

7.3. By participating in the Promotion, Participants agree to release and hold harmless MyBambu and its affiliates from any and all liabilities, losses, or damages arising out of or in connection with the Promotion.

7.4. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Delaware.

7.5. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Promotion shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state courts in Memphis, Tennessee, or the federal court in the Western District of Tennessee.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT — To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means for you: when you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.

1. Register and open a MyBambu account using your country’s official ID; we do not verify your immigration status.

2. No monthly Fee, No Overdrafts, No minimum Balance. An inactivity fee may apply after 12 months.

3. Extra fees, such as, transfer fees, intermediary bank or foreign exchange charges, may apply.

4. Offer valid only when your referred friend opens a new MyBambu account and is verified.

5. Visa’s Zero Liability Policy does not apply to certain commercial card and anonymous prepaid card transactions or transactions not processed by Visa. Cardholders must use care in protecting their card and notify their issuing financial institution immediately of any unauthorized use. 6. International money transfers are not offered by Community Federal Savings Bank. From time to time, MyBambu may offer promotions related to the use of this service. Extra fees, such as, transfer fees, intermediary bank or foreign exchange charges, may apply. Regular fees will apply as per MyBambu’s fee schedule at the conclusion of any promotion. MyBambu reserves the right to change or end any promotion at any time.

7. Card funds will be held at or transferred to Community Federal Savings Bank, Member FDIC. While there, card funds are insured up to $250,000 by the FDIC in the event Community Federal Savings Bank fails if specific deposit insurance requirements are met. FDIC insurance does not apply to non-bank deposit products.
