MyBambu Account Opening and Referral Rewards Program

Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) govern the MyBambu (“we”, “our” or “us”) program (the “Program”) for the payment of an Account Opening and/or Referral Reward (“Account Opening and/or Referral Reward” or “Reward(s)”) related to the opening and use of a demand deposit account and activating a linked MyBambu Visa® Debit Card Account (“Account” or “Card”) issued by Community Federal Savings Bank (the “Bank”), Member FDIC, pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. The Account Opening and Referral Reward is open to all customers of MyBambu (each a “Participant“) who meet the eligibility criteria outlined in these Terms and Conditions and who comply with the MyBambu Deposit Account and Cardholder Agreement (the “Account Agreement“). The Account Opening and/or Referral Reward is offered and provided by MyBambu and the Bank is not a party to the Reward offer.

By participating in the Program and seeking a Reward, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions and any changes we make to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not comply with these Terms and Conditions, you are not authorized to participate in the Program or receive a Reward. Individuals who open a new MyBambu Account or who invite Friends to open an Account and/or activate a Card are called “you” or “your.” Individuals who receive an invitation from you to participate in the Program are called “Friend(s).” Strict compliance with these Terms and Conditions is required for Reward eligibility.

1. Program Basics.

1.1. The $25 Reward can be earned if you or your Friend 1) opens an Account and/or activates a Card, 2) makes a minimum $25 deposit (via cash load or Automated Clearing House (“ACH”)) and 3) makes two card transactions for a minimum of $10 or an International Money Transfer. The foregoing must be completed within 30 calendar days of account opening (the “Program Activation Period”). To be eligible, Participants must also comply with the Account Agreement. A Reward will be deposited to your Account within 15 business days (Monday through Friday excluding US bank holidays) after it is earned. When the Reward is deposited in your Account you will see the Reward amount added to your Account balance. You must have an active Account and be in good standing during the Program to be eligible for a Reward and your Friend must use the link provided in the referral. Individuals who are eligible to receive over $600 in Rewards are required to submit to us a valid IRS W-9 or W-8 form.

1.2. When you refer a Friend, we may require you to and you hereby agree to provide and/or confirm information and documentation that will allow us to identify the Referee, such as:

1.2.1. The name of the person who opened their Account.

1.2.2. The email of the person used to open their Account.

1.2.3. The date of when you sent the referral link.

1.2.4. A screenshot of the link sent to the Referee.

1.3. You may not use bulk distribution methods to solicit Friends that in our discretion constitute unsolicited commercial communications or spam, whether through email, social media, or other websites or platforms. The use of multiple, duplicate or otherwise fake Accounts, opening a MyBambu account with fake or false personal information or a forged or altered government ID, or failure to follow the terms and conditions of the Account by you or your Referee is a violation of these Terms and Conditions. Violating any applicable law is also a violation of these Terms and Conditions. We may take back any Rewards that are received by you in violation of these Terms and Conditions, and we may close your Account.

1.4.  The referring Participant (“Referrer“) will also receive a Reward for each successful referral once all the conditions have been met.

1.5. The minimum Reward amount for both the Referrer and Friend is $25.

2. Qualifying Criteria:

2.1 To qualify for the Reward, the Friend must use the unique referral link or code provided by the Referrer when opening a MyBambu account.

2.2 The Friend must complete the account opening process and fulfill the Program requirement within the Program Activation Period to be eligible for the Reward.

2.3 Only ACH or Cash deposits are eligible for the Reward. Peer-to-peer (P2P) and other transfers will not be considered.

3. Reward Distribution:

3.1 Rewards will be credited to the Accounts of both the Referrer and Friend once all the qualifying conditions have been met.

3.2 MyBambu reserves the right to withhold Rewards if any fraudulent activity or abuse of the Program is detected.

3.3 Rewards are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other form of compensation.

4. Program Activation Period: 

4.1 Participants have 30 calendar days to complete the requirements of the Program to receive the Reward, unless otherwise specified by MyBambu.

4.2 MyBambu reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time without prior notice.

4.3 MyBambu may terminate this Program at any time. We can change the amount of the Reward or these Terms and Conditions at any time. The amount of the Reward you will be entitled to will be the amount that applies at the time you meet all requirements of the Program.

5. Additional Reward Condition – Account Must be in Good Standing and Not Negative

5.1 As a Reward condition your Account must remain open, in good standing and not have a negative available balance. No Reward will be deposited into your Account if: (1) your Account is closed or not in good standing after the Reward qualification is validated and prior to the Reward being deposited or (2) your Account has a negative available balance at the time of the Reward qualification is validated.

6. General Terms:

6.1 Participation in the Program constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

6.2 MyBambu reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

6.3 By participating in the Program, Participants agree to release and hold harmless MyBambu and its affiliates from any and all liabilities, losses, or damages arising out of or in connection with the Program.

6.4 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Delaware.

6.5 Disclaimer: You understand and agree that your use of the Program is at your sole risk, and the Program and our platform are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, CONDITIONS, AND TERMS (COLLECTIVELY, “WARRANTIES”) OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED BY STATUTE, COMMON LAW OR CUSTOM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES AS TO PRODUCTS OR SERVICES OFFERED THROUGH THE USE OF THE PROGRAM AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

6.6 Any disputes with us about the Program or Rewards are governed by Delaware law and must be brought in the state courts in Memphis, Tennessee, or the federal court in the Western District of Tennessee.
